Tape Frankfurt
Schirn Kunsthalle / 08.-17.09.2010 Frankfurt

The installation was executed for "Playing the city 2", an exhibition of 20 international artists in public space, organized by one of the most prominent galleries in Germany, Schirn Kunsthalle. The exhibition, curated by Matthias Ulrich, involves Frankfurt city centre and its inhabitants, questioning the artistic engagement with public space and concepts such as "social turn" and "community-based art". A special system of lifting had to be designed due to the fact that the installation was first developed at lower level and later lifted up and exhibited 2.5 meters higher.
